This award-winning restaurant serves the best duck in town. It features specialities from northern China, including Peking Duck and Beggar’s Chicken, which are served in an innovative manner. The atmosphere is inviting, with the buzz coming from the diners and the action from the show kitchens.

A wine cellar and an interesting array of desserts complement with the northern Chinese cuisine served at Made in China. Five private rooms have been designed for 6 to 16 diners.

Chef Information

Chef Kent Jin Qiang is the Chinese Chef of Grand Hyatt Beijing. He has an over 30 years of culinary experience. His career includes more than 20 years in senior position in the kitchen.


For the past 13 years, Chef Jin has been Chinese Chef of the award-winning restaurant, Made in China, at Grand Hyatt Beijing which he and his team have successfully positioned as the northern Chinese restaurant in the city.
