Shopping at Oriental Plaza
The Malls at Oriental Plaza
Grand Hyatt Beijing is directly connected to The Malls at Oriental Plaza, one of the largest commercial complexes in Asia, which offers world-class shopping, dining and entertainment facilities.
The Malls also houses feature outlets offering essential necessities, including a supermarket, photo express shops and a large pharmacy. For entertainment, the Oriental Plaza Cinemas screen the best local and international movies.

Wangfujing Street
Located immediately next door to the Oriental Plaza complex is one of Beijing's oldest and most famous shopping streets, Wangfujing Street. Much of the road is off-limits to motor vehicles and even bicycles, and it is not rare to see the entire street full of people, walking along one of China's most attractive and modern boulevards.
Since the middle of the Ming Dynasty, there have been commercial activities on this street. Wangfujing is now home to around 280 famous Beijing brands, such as the Shengxifu hat store, the Tongshenghe shoe shop and the Wuyutai tea house, as well as several international brands. Also located on the street are the Xinhua Bookstore, the Beijing Foreign Language Bookstore, the Beijing Department Store and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Flagship Store.
Wangfujing has a station on the Beijing subway network, which is a stop away eastbound from Tiananmen Square, and is directly accessible through The Malls at Oriental Plaza or at the southern end of the street.
